At least 800 mg daily of magnesium, even up to 1500 mg if necessary. Citrate, malate, taurate and glycinate are all great forms of magnesium. The best brands I’ve tried are KAL, New Chapter, and the British ‘Together - Ocean Pure magnesium’. Also test your potassium levels and vitamin D. Some people have success even just by using potassium. Vitamin D is crucial (it should be ideally 50-80 ng/ml in your blood test); if you don’t have enough vitamin D your body cannot absorb magnesium and calcium, both of which are crucial for healthy blood pressure.
