Crestron Home and SWAMP Amplifiers

Hello!

Quick question to all of you, how are SWAMP amplifiers and expanders working with the latest version of Crestron Home? one of my clients is interested in upgrading to Crestron Home while keeping his existing SWAMP multi-room audio.

Is there something I need to know before getting myself into this update?

Thanks.

Works perfectly fine.  My only question to you is, what are your sources?  If you are using an MMS multi-source player, expect issues.  So a 2a,3e, 5a/e will not choose streams 2-5 on the amp.  Found the issue while Sonnex Tools was open and choosing different streams.  Been dealing with an issue on 2 systems for well over a year and finally got escalated to ATSG and they found an issue but won’t roll out the fix till their next update.  Other than that SWAMP amps have been bulletproof.

Thanks for the reply fellas. Good news then.

Pat, I'm gonna be using SONOS Ports as the sources for the SWAMP system, I should be good right?

Only drawback I've had is...
You can't do doorbells with them.
Home has no way to recall what the swamp was on, to recall it after the chime.

Hi David,

I haven’t used Sonos with CH at all and the projects that we have used Sonos on with Simpl systems, were changed over to MMS units for one reason or another.
