Makers Union, the relatively new restaurant where Matchbox used to be, is offering a great lunch or dinner there for $25/$40 respectively as part of Black Restaurant Week (through 7/28). Full disclosure: My daughter works there. But that means I've eaten there a number of times and have been happy with the food (and, of course, the service)! They also offer family-style options if you want to go with a larger group. And they just got some new, huge umbrellas that provide great coverage for outdoor dining.

 

Check them out and help them stake out a permanent footprint in the neighborhood!
