To make things even easier, I recommend using a SMA bullet with a knurled center section, such as ebay item # 202670005403.

What I find really handy is a SMA connector with two clipleads connected. Whether you cut a cable in half and add clips, or get a clip jumper, cut it in half and solder the wires to the SMA connector.
