Henry was used to Poole and his reserved manners. He liked them very much, and ordinarily, if Poole said he saw nothing, he would simply leave it at that. But now, surprised by Leticia unexpected nonverbal response, just as obvious for all of its unexpressed nature, he had to listen to his own misgivings on the matter. It struck him that some odd events happened that day. Many of them vastly pleasurably, some utterly disconcerting, and that day before was somewhat worse in that regard. He himself wondered when he found that note, of the person able to leave it there. At that time, even Poole had to be closely examined before found beyond reproach. After all, the matter was very sensitive and very disturbing. To the point, that if questioned about it, Henry himself might be unwilling to dignify it with a response. There was, after all, nothing concrete to talk about. No proper evidence to file away against the perpetrator, only vaguest suspicions that did not leave one feeling fully confident. If that was where Henry himself has been earlier, it only stood to a reason that a man like Poole, who after his presumed military service took everything in stride, or strove to, might feel some of the same reservations, to talk of the vague and the uncertain that could not be adequately phrased. Things have changed since yesterday for Henry though. He was no longer alone. His duties were truer now, and thus more significant. He had to try and dig for all of the truth, however uncomfortable. "Well yes, dear Poole. We would need some refreshments in the library, and while you attend to that, I would like you to take some time and reflect on anything that happened today. I have experienced some strange events during the day. You would not believe how odd it I told you. And I would like to know if you observed something equally unusual, even if you cannot explain it, but it strikes you as strange, that would still work. Don't answer now, just think about it, won't you, dear chap?" Henry suggested, considering the refreshments only mildly necessary, while the break required for rumination far more important. There was also this book he finally remembered, about a note somebody left to themselves in a haze, that he wanted to see if he could find again. Just on the off chance that his suspicions of the culprit could be encouraged by rereading the relevant passage. He knew he didn't leave it himself, of course, but the train of thought suggested in the book, it had some starting point he had to uncover. Previous Message in the Thread: Rena smiled a warm greeting at Poole and asked for the food mentioned to be put out in the dining room. She wondered if Henry would prefer a late night snack in the library instead, but either way servants had to bring it so if they weren't in the middle of work, the dining room was likely the best place. For her part, Leti had a hard time not grasping at her own skirts for something to do with her hands. She as suddenly nervous with her place in this home, and what would be thought of her, and what she are say...But no. She was just Dr. Henry's new assistant, and that was that. He would handle it as he saw fit and until they were alone she would keep her mouth shut. As he had done outside when she was too preoccupied with her own growing sense of nervousness to pay mind, she looked around with avid interest. She carefully studied her surroundings and Poole, and Rena and Henry as well, for their reactions and moods should be hers. She took cues from them on how relaxed to be or not until she had her own feel for this place.

Sweet Dreams
2
Felix could not tell what the enemy's game was. It was fine and dandy to make the victim doubt themselves, go against their instinct, but it was strange to encourage your own ally to go mad. It just didn't make sense. Which made its own sense, considering the stage performer was indeed crazy, no matter his claims of high alchemical lineage. It was all false, it was all fabricated, even if the precise details of it were the most difficult ones in the world to trace, even for his family. That was the main reason Felix would not use the gate accidentally open to him by the enemy. The gate had a characteristic secret society hieroglyph, a hint at his grandmother's secret identity, and she would be allies with the likes of this rotten bunch, to be sure. But he did not and would not take the bait. Although it would feel so very satisfying to strike at her, for the sake of his mom and uncle both. Only now, the big bad C finally left the so called Victor to his own devices. C was gone, his characteristic signature was utterly gone, but this scientist, so very inspired to be driven beyond his natural limits, was doing it all to himself. That was pathetic. But it was also ironic. The kind of irony he liked, and his own team could use. "Vamps, Underworld, really, like really?" Felix wondered to himself, his incredulous smile a carbon copy of his uncle's. "Do you miss the chains then? Do you want to go back, somewhere deep inside, to the safety of knowing, that your liver will always be used at a certain hour? It does feel safe to you somewhere, doesn't it? All the talks of avoiding death, running away from it...Well, maybe you get lucky, as they say, three strikes, and you're out..." Felix considered, though of course it was still too early to talk directly to the enemy. He did not and would not risk exposing himself. The big one was untouchable until that time when the Great One accepted his greatness, Felix reasoned with a sardonic smile. Victor was a different ball game though. While the other was a fortress of a temple, this one held no protective idols at all. And the thing about the subconscious mind was that it readily accepted suggestions. Ideas always came to regular humans seemingly out of nowhere, except Felix of course knew where they could come from. That was the nature of the beast, after all. "That could be a fun game," Felix considered and began whispering into Van Hoff's mind. Most waking minds were rather asleep after all. If only other matters were just as easy, the war would be all but won. "Mary Beth, progress?" Van Hoff wondered, "I am ready to start a regiment of supplements to our patient, if the salve is working" the doctor spoke confidently, entertaining a new hope in his heart. "Well said Heidi, Amen," Elizabeth concluded, not sure if that was enough for the prayer, not being able to recall more, nor to come up with some plausible improvisation that would only betray the lie of her pretense. Previous Message in the Thread: "Yes indeed, Doctor, we do have some of that salve, Mary Beth replied, and I shall apply it liberally, three times a day as you have said. She took out a small vial of the salve, and began rubbing it on Victor’s throat, and on other places where she could see various marks from Burns, from the time he had spent briefly in the underworld. Yes mistress, Heidi replied with a nod, bowing her head to begin the prayer. Father of all grace, and all glory, we come to you now to intercede for her husband, and my master, Victor. Please free him from the traps set by the evil one, free him from the snares of his soul, whether he has fashioned the snares himself, or whether the evil one has fashioned them to catch him. She then reached into her pocket, and produced a small rosary which she carried with her. As her fingers delicately touched the beads, she began softly murmuring, hail Mary, mother of all grace, Hail Mary, mother of endless comfort and mercy, please grant grace and mercy to Victor, bring him back from whatever dark doings he has done, or have been done to him. Restore him safely to h

Not wishing to cause scandal by being seen out at another pub, at least without a disguise, Henry, Rena and Leti took a cab home. Rena was still unaccustom to the horses, feeling that things passed by the darkened window so slowly as she stared out into the darkness. "It must be nice to see in the dark," Leti half whispered when they stepped from the cab at Henry's. She scrambled down unassisted while Henry swung Rena down by her waist. "Are you hungry," Rena asked Henry with a wide smile as they headed inside."It's late," Leti protested and Rena only shrugged. Out on the London Town, Rena, Henry, Leti

They made plans to meet with Oliver at Henry's the next evening so they could call upon Reynolds. Oliver thenwalked them out to the handsome cab he'd had waiting for their ride back into London. "So," rena asked once they were settled inside and riding away. "Do we go home or make a night of it," she wondered, gaze resting on Henry mischievously. Sweet Dreams

"Who or what indeed," Van Hoff agreed unhappily, even the more esoteric theories falling flat in the face of harsh reality. "That is not looking well," Van Hoff admitted, trying to remain calm as any good doctor had to be at some point. It was all part of the trade. Unpleasant perhaps, but nonetheless frequent. The fear of failure that made the rare success saving and improving a life all the more valuable. He was willing to admit defeat, if he had to. But the time for it, has it come already, so soon? Van Hoff could not say and decided to try one more thing. "Mary Beth, I shall now need your assistance. I will be injecting that experimental drug I have told you about. It may be imported from Hindustan, it may have had an uncertain reputation, but the few times it has been tried, have proved its efficacy, so in the spirit of science itself, we must proceed. There are risks involved of course, so if you should wish to distance yourself from the experiment and ensure your own reputation remains unblemished in our community, I shall understand and ask Ludwig to assist me instead. How do you feel about one more risky adventure?" Van Hoff wondered, divided between uncertainty and a certain kind of excitement, at finally having a seemingly good reason to give it a try. *** "Only God in Heaven and his messengers on Earth," Elizabeth idly declared, trying to decide if she even remembered the old catechism any longer. Many words of the old religion rang false to her. Especially since she has grown beyond a mere human capability. Especially since she had to measure and divide such empty words in relation to the one soul she felt relatively certain could appreciate them even less than she had. "We can always do what women do best, and simply pray," the young woman concluded, unable to avoid the small smile completely, and compensating for it with a hint of bitterness at the corners of her lips. Humans emotions were difficult to fake, when performed by one above humans, Elizabeth decided, and thought to share with her new friend Cylas later on.

There came a knock at the door then. Outside on the stoop, Finn slid a smile to Rayna. "Here you shall see exactly what my organization does and I think you shall approve." He felt excited in a way he could extremely refreshing for the feeling was such a rare one for him. The thrill of satisfaction. Of truly doing good, protecting the innocent in a way the Gray Cardinals had assured someone with his particular abilities could do best. At present, he felt like a useful and even valued member of society rather than the abomination he deep down knew he was. At moments like this, he did not have to apologize for himself to himself or anyone else and that was a rapture...a high all its own. He studied the fine looking house, noting that it belonged to someone of wealth. A doctor he was told...but the doctor was harboring something very bad...more than one something and it had to be stopped, one monster at a time. Exploring London (Tatia/open)
4
Tatia walked the streets of London alone after having abandoned her original plan of staying in this evening. Normally whenever she did that it involved doing a ‘head dive’ in order to visit with her friend who spent a century at a time sleeping thanks to a spell her aunt had bound her to centuries ago. But tonight with the others out having a night on the town she thought...’Why not?’ She drew a breath as fingers lightly brushed against the simple silver ring with the lapis lazuli stone that had come to be referred to as a ‘daylight ring’ by those who knew it allowed her to move about in the sun without burning. Briefly thinking back to the woman who’d created it for her only after having turned her into a vampire. She supposed that she should on some level be grateful to Esther for saving her life. But it was also difficult not to blame her as well because had she not turned her own children into the same kind of monster previously then that day in the woods would not have ended with Elijah nearly killing her. No she might have actually had the intended conversation with Niklaus and her life had been very different.

Streets Of London (Klaus/Amara/Valerie)
10
Amara found herself suddenly aware of how closely she was being watched though gave no outward appearance of being so. Perhaps it had to do with being mildly distracted by the woman with waist length blonde hair whose dress was not of this time period. It was odd the way she seemed so focused on Klaus, who like everyone else couldn’t even see her. Who was she? The former handmaiden was soon pulled from her thoughts by the sound of his, a little belatedly registering what was asked of her. “I could not begin to guess the effects my blood have on either. It was not long at all after I drank the potion when Qetsiyah took her revenge then from that moment until earlier this night I was powerless to interact with the world around me....and...locked away inside of that sarcophagus.” She wished she could more helpful with her answer but there was nothing else. Her eyes once more drifting to the strangely dressed blonde staring so intently at Klaus that she seemed not to notice either Valerie or herself. She appeared older than he did though she wasn’t sure what conclusion to draw from that. _________ Valerie, for her part, walked along in silence going over the night’s conversation with a man she would have otherwise avoided.

Van Hoff nodded, the motion is as painstakingly slow as the inner movement inside of his mind. The attempt to recall that one esoteric bit of forgotten wisdom that perchance may bear light on the events at hand. "It might be a case of intense mesmerizing performed in the past. Anton Mesmer, not as scientific fellow by any means, reported a curious case that somebody far more solid confirmed in a different setting. Mesmer believed that suggestions could be given, bordering on the bizarre and the uncanny, that the mind could accept as a given...and yet a colleague of mine confirmed it in the case of those dear Pagans from Hindustan who know not Christ, but their own deities seem to have great powers as well. Including the powers to guide and disrupt the course of dreams. Some invocations to such deities created tangible effects, effects I thought were strange at the time, until our patient arrived. Though if the theory be correct, who on Earth could have mesmerized our patient? I remember some priests experimenting with hypnosis and dreaming, but none were, naturally malign. This case gets more and more interesting by the minute," Van Hoff carefully opined, almost wishing he still had his cigar at hand for relaxation. "Harsher circumstances, yes. Well spoken dearest Heidi. I fear it takes a great challenge at times, to remind one of what they value, of what they seek to accomplish, of what they hold most dear. God is merciful and God is wise, Poor Victor though, I fear the harshness of the thing might get the better of him. Is there a way to help him, I wonder? Perhaps it is but the Grace of the Lord that shall offer him his last chance at salvation," Elizabeth spoke skeptically.

The Witch is Back (Qetsiyah/Fedora/etc)
8
The sounds of chanting filled the air as she stood facing her betrayer, a hint of enjoyment flickered in her eyes at the fear and uncertainty she had witnessed on the former handmaiden’s face. It gave her a small sense of pleasure to leave her inquiries unanswered. Her head turned slightly as she felt a wind stir within these four walls…it seemed to be urging her towards the anchor and at first she resisted but its force only increased until she was swept towards her. When she first opened her eyes there was considerable confusion as the continued chants reached her ears then slowly faded in favor of murmured words among those circled around her. Who were these people? Where had Amara gone? These questions and more threatened to come rushing forth when a sudden realization stopped them from passing her lips. She was…alive again. But why? It didn't take much to reach the conclusion they were witches. “Qetsiyah?” The witch rose to her feet instantly turning to face the blonde who uttered her name, a look of distrust etched on her features as she glanced from her face to the folded garments she held in her hands. Seeing the woman's distrust she carefully placed the garments on the floor a few feet away then took several steps back so as not to provoke her. “We have need of your help.” Amelia informed while collecting her thoughts. She felt certain the events of the past had left this woman with considerable trust issues and needed to precede with caution. Qetsiyah regarded the woman with one eyebrow lifted already suspecting her new chance at life would be expertly used as leverage to encourage her to be helpful. “With what?” Slowly folding her arms across her chest as she fixed the woman with a level gaze. “We have something of a vampire problem that we are looking to rectify.” Amelia cast a glancing look around at the others of her coven before turning her focus back to the woman they had only moments before pulled back from the Other Side. “I am sure that you have witnessed the utter arrogance of the Nine and it is them that we seek to…teach a lesson.” “Oh?” Qetsiyah was intrigued by this turn of events as she had no particular love for vampires of any kind but she'd seen enough to know the ones the blonde spoke of thought themselves to be superior beings whose laws were to govern the supernatural world when the reality was far different. It might be interesting…seeing them brought low. “We have been working on a spell to that effect.” (tag: Gray Cardinals - if you wish to involve them in this.)

Life in London
85
Though Renfield tended his vegetable garden in the early morning around sunrise he also checked up on it in the evening when he got home from work in his uncle's law office where he did real-estate. Often he'd find bugs on the vegetables. It was good for the garden to remove them, but he also enjoyed the salty crunchy taste and the quick exhilarating jolt of life force he felt from each one as it died under his teeth. His mother and uncle often complained about him bothering with a garden when he had enough money to simply buy his greens, but he enjoyed the soothing comfort of having his hands in the soil and tending the vegetables. And of course the bugs! The small young man was disappointed to only find a few bugs on the baby tomatoes today, but their rapid little lives had indeed energized him. He'd been invited out to dinner with some people from work, and had agreed to go because the conversation was intellectually stimulating. The only downside of the evening was that Roger Hamilton would be there and the man always gave him odd sidelong looks sense seeing Renfield eat that spider from the office wall some months back. Knowing that people would be unreasonable about his...snacking habits he did his best to keep them out of sight, but sometimes things happened. It didn't seem the man had told anyone, but the looks annoyed Renfield nonetheless. They really annoyed him. I'm friends with the monster that's under my bed. I get along with the voices inside of my head.

The Birth Of Katherine Pierce
47
Katerina was thankful for a lack of questions as she didn't feel all that prepared for explaining her choices or actions at this point. No the reasons behind this were private. "One might could might say so." Though she felt 'a matter of great importance' might be exaggerating things given it was nothing all that earth shattering but for her it was a necessity. She could only hope her family would understand the decision to take some time to herself. If not it was a bridge she would have to cross when the time came. "Well I'm afraid that I must be going. But I would like to thank you once more for your assistance." She spoke softly feeling a weight had begun to lift from her shoulders with the possibilities this new identity could provide her with. When she felt ready she would reach out to her husband or their daughter Nadia to explain and begin mending whatever damage this might cause. It was obvious that her eldest daughter was picking up on certain things and angry with her father because of them. There were moments when she questioned just how aware he was of the things going on within their family. Perhaps Nadia's concerns were valid despite how often she tried to discourage her daughter from thinking the way she did. After saying her farewells and promising to keep in touch she exited the townhouse heading off into the night once the papers were carefully folded and tucked inside the inner pocket of her cloak. "To new beginnings."

Promise Kept and Memories Lost (Catalina/Mircea/Nadia)
4
Nadia woke lying on the floor with the last thing she remembered being the struggle to regain control of her own body that was quickly followed up by an agreement being made between herself and the two siblings. She rolled onto her side looking from one unconscious sibling to the other. It would seem the Travelers had upheld their end of the bargain though she did have to wonder why Mircea was unconscious as the spell wouldn’t have affected him. Slowly pushing herself up off the ground as she looked around noticing their hosts had left. _________ Catalina’s eyes slowly opened as she brought her hands up to rub her temples a moment. Everything had gone as promised. She’d gotten the Travelers to put her back inside the human body that was hers in this lifetime thanks to the universe choosing reincarnation as a means of giving her another chance at life. She carefully sat up on the wooden table where her body was placed before the beginning of the spell. The fingers of one hand pushing her dark brown hair back behind her ear as she nervously looked for her brother. Panic slowly rising within her as she saw him lying unconscious on the floor. “Mircea?” She called out to him then suddenly wondered how she would explain this decision to their father who might not approve of her relinquishing control of the other woman’s body to be a weak human again. Wait. Father? Why couldn’t she remember a single thing about their father? Her hazel eyes widened as more panic began to settle in at this realization. (ooc: skipped it ahead to where as I’d mentioned a while back the two have their own bodies again. Figure at some point right after the spell was done the witches with Qetsiyah’s help had taken down the nine including the Vlad who was their father and put them in Malivore effectively making everyone forget them and the spell could have altered Mircea however ya want or not at all as far as abilities and what not. Still need to work on the Qetsiyah post and a Katherine one which will be fun lol)

A life changing event, Vlad/Lucy
21
He hated the fact he'd had to make the choice he had only hours ago. He hated not turning Ilona...no now she was Mina...Turning her himself. It had been harder than he'd imagined to bet on Katherina saving her so he could use her against them, but he had to. His brother had to be stopped and most importantly of all to pay and he knew Ilona would've wanted to be a pat of that. He was part of the reason she'd been lost him centuries ago along with everything else. If Katerina hadn't saved her he would've interceded. He just hoped she believed that. And now for a peace offering. He'd heard her telling Katerina she'd gotten lost on the street, tipsy she had gotten separated from her friend, Lucy...and he tracked the woman by scent, because hers still clung to Mina, the two having spent enough time together. He watched her walking for a moment, then slid up behind her, a stocky bearded man in gentleman's clothing. Extending a gloved hand, he touched her elbow lightly before hastily dropping his hand away. To speak to a lady out on the street and alone was the height of social inappropriateness but under the circumstances he believed he could get away with it. "Excuse me, are you Lucy? Your friend Mina was injured and is looking for you," he said, Transilvanian accent heavy around each word. I'm friends with the monster that's under my bed. I get along with the voices inside of my head.

I’m not sure, Doctor, Mary Beth admitted, greatly hating to admit her uncertainty. I…, I have never seen anything like this before. This appears to be some sort of a dream that he is being forced to undergo, yet the burns and wounds popping up on his body are quite real. You can see them with your own eyes, can you not? She looked first at the doctor, then at Ludwig. Well mistress,he sincere love of God, his mercy and grace; but sadly for others, it takes harsher circumstances. I’Well mistress, Heidi began, with some hesitation, for some people, it is the sincere love of God which draws them, his grace and mercy; but for others, it takes harsher circumstances. I honestly do not know which will be the case for master Victor. He…, He’s such a self-sufficient man of science, and men of science often do not believe in God. It takes quite a bit to move them. We can only hope that he will come back to us, more impressionable, and willing to believe. In the dream, Victor had finally been made to drink the blood, very much against his will. Oh…, Oh God! The words were a mixture of a desperate plea, coupled with notes of anger. The one called Vlad Chuckled in his most malevolent Manor, kitten, you don’t even believe in God; you don’t even believe in…, Me. I can see you, touch you, of course I believe in you, you’re a man. But what kind of man am I, he retorted, I would tell you, but then again, you wouldn’t believe me. He chuckled again, noticing that it made Victor extremely nervous. so I will just have to, prove it to you. Vlad once more ran his fangs across Victor’s throat, and up and down, watching his fear, and smiling. He then pierced a part of his throat, but not too much. Just enough to cause some pain. Do you know how easy it would be for me to kill you, kitten? With that, Victor would feel Vlads lips, almost tenderly sucking up the small droplets of blood. Victor yelled, and tried to slap at Vlad, which earned him yet another malevolent chuckle. It also earned him an unexpected shot from scientist. The shot did not come from a gun as such, it shot out pins, which went into Victor, causing quite a few volts of electricity to flow through him. He convulsed, lightning maker! Please no more lightning. I would kill you right here and now, with only a nod from my friends, but they wish to keep you alive, so very well. Scientist nodded, at least for now, she stated. But now kitten, do you know what I am? He looked expectantly at Victor when he said this, and Victor replied, yes, you’re a vampire! He said the words without hesitation. Vlad threw his arms in the air and laughed triumphantly, what do you know, the great victor Frankenstein, man of science, believes, in, vampires! What else, will the great victor come to believe in? Scientist smiled, aiming the taser at Victor, who cringed. I could kill him myself with this thing here, but then I couldn’t study him the way I want to study him. No, not that, Victor stated, then his tone became conversational. What is that called? Oh, this thing here? Scientist use her sweetest tone, this is called a…, None, of, York, business. She pronounce each word slowly, just God loves you.

Sweet Dreams
44
Dr Van Hoff has been perusing an intriguing volume by James Esdaile, which despite containing numerous discoveries of the mind and the body connections, read at times as a fantastical novel with the protagonist who happened to be a medical explorer of sorts. Carefully observing the peculiar table of correspondences between a Hindu acolyte's sleep cycle and the perceived physical injury painstakingly described by Esdaile, Van Hoff started wondering if he began noticing a pattern or if he was merely seeing one due to his own physical fatigue. At least there was something useful at any rate about the Dark God's priests and their unusual healing methods, Esdaile was as right about those as he was about the permanent ways in which the acolytes of the Dark Goddess solved their problems. The heavy steps in the library instantly drew his attention away from the fascinating treatise. The foot man was a bigger man than most, rumors circulating of his one time participation in the boxing ring and the general interest in pugilism, which to Van Hoff's mind was a welcome addition to the household and its sense of unassailable safety. Before he had to cajole the man into speaking, as was their way, Ludwig unexpectedly volunteered his own explanation. ""It's the patient, M'Lord. He is moving in his sleep, turning, as if in pain and talking to somebody. I could not make it out, but me thought he was arguing," Ludwig added. Unsurprised by his lack of details, as well as by his inappropriate form of address that Van Hoff had tried to eradicate, since he was not Nobility, not even minor one, the doctor motioned for the footman to lead him on. He could have found the room easily himself, but every time he ignored propriety with Ludwig, the man was going to be worse the next time, as Van Hoff well knew. **** Elizabeth did not sleep as soundly as she had expected that night. Something kept nagging at her, and though she could not remember exactly what, when she woke up, her mind starting planning a party of its volition. It was dark, and she did not want to think about it, and thought Victor would not be in good shape for her to plan a party, but she was not able to stop herself. Going over and over the details ahead of time, and smiling in anticipation of the pleasant introductions to new friends that were sure to follow.

Calling on the doctor. Tag: Natari, others.t
21
OOc forwarding this for quips as she accidently sent to me. IC The doctor smiled when she nodded to his statement about fear, it was wonderful to see that at least in some things, they were actually on the same Page, as the human saying went. Fear, plus the wrong impression, especially the wrong first impression, often yields an ironclad decision, which is often for the worse, both for the one making it, and the one whom it concerns, he added thoughtfully. Perhaps I wouldn’t have changed had I met the wrong vampire, assuming that I even survived the encounter; likely as not though, I wouldn’t have changed because, I wouldn’t of had the chance to do so. He chuckled, looking strangely uncomfortable when she stated that it would’ve been interesting to see which one of them one out. He glanced away, hoping to hide his unease at the subject. The sudden shock of Natari’s statement about her kind being fewer in number than humans, caused Van Helsing to suddenly look back in her direction, eyes wide with surprise, and riveted to her. Truly?? That is indeed, a most surprising, and startling revelation, one I definitely was not expecting. I would’ve never expected to hear that in 1 million years. And the main reason is not even that I would not be around for 1 million years, the main reason is because, because it seems so unlikely; you’re kind a strong, resourceful and cunning. It seems quite unlikely to say the very least that you and your kind are far fewer in number than mortals are. I believe you of course, but I would very much like to know how that could be. He looked equally surprised at her light, almost flippant words about whether her kind flourished or languished, as well as that he could teach someone else to kill them. I would never do that, not anymore, he reassured her. I would tell any student of mine concerning vampires, they are like humans in many ways, yes they hunt, but do not many humans also hunt animals? And I would tell them, always try to get to know them, do not seek to kill them, unless one seeks to take your life, first. He studied her expression, wanting very much to see inside her, to study all those hidden nuances that he had missed in all his years as a vampire Hunter. Dreams and Nightmares, tag Mary, etc

When Mary would venture in to clean Dr. Henry's bed chamber now that he'd gone out, she would find a slightly crumpled sheet of paper on the bedside table. Musings hurriedly written in the doctor's own hand of a personal nature as if some fragment of a diary entry. Clouds filled with stars cover your skies And I hope it rains; you're the perfect lullaby What kind of dream is this? You could be a sweet dream or a beautiful nightmare Either way I don't want to wake up from you (turn the lights on) Sweet dream or a beautiful nightmare Your love's too good to be true (turn the lights on) My guilty pleasure, I ain't going nowhere Rena as 'long as you're here, I'll be floating on air, cause you're mine You can be a sweet dream or a beautiful nightmare Either way I don't want to wake up from you ( The room was dark, but it was as if a dark unsettling sort of energy cloaked the place too, as if something could jump out from behind the bed curtains to startle or worse but no one was there. "You are more optimistic than I on this matter," Natari said. "Humans and vampires coming to a peace...I don't know...Both can be so crewel. Both like to be top of the food chain and when one bad apple on either side rolls the wrong way, it will quickly set things off. I see it happen between different countries among humans. Such has started wars for centuries. It is sadly the nature of both beasts and I can't see them changing their natures even if half of us are willing to." She felt that half was being generous, but for the sake of debate, she let it lie. "I don't think they will see a true reason to change when provoked, not the vamires or humans. Is this right? No. Is it likely, sadly yes." Monsters stuck in your head (We are, we are, we are) Monsters under your bed
