If you go to nh6fu.ampr.org and see the top right corner links, you will find an alternative software to connect Icom repeaters to the internet. I have had this software running for months on a Raspberry pi4 on a repeater in Tucson (34/94). No problems. And, it will connect to XLX servers! Good: it works... the Admin of XLX102 is now using on his repeater systems. Bad: Author of dashboard is an SK. A huge loss to D-star. -- de NH6FU

The 146.94 "BART" repeater is being replaced. Temporarily, an ICOM repeater is in use until.... It will do analog mixed mode and will repeat local D-star. It does have a gateway set up connected to XLX102Q, so hotspot capable. The BART repeater has NEVER been a closed system.. The dashboard is at nh6fu.ampr.org

So I was listening to some activity on the KE7JFH system and it dawned on me that we have a handful of new users who may not know where to find info on what the repeater systems are connected to. The following web locations will provide you the current DPLUS DASHBOARD for the repeater system: Depending on the browser you may get a notification that site is unsecure, if you get this message accept the risk and the page should be displayed. If you are using firefox you may have to go to an advanced tab and accept the risk. MS EDGE has a some message that asks about selecting the link shown and continuing to site in question. IF you change the call letters to the repeater you want to view you can see the same info for another system. Going forward, it has been decided that new registrations for KE7JFH D-Star (ie, Usery and Pinal) should go through REGIST. There are several reasons for this, one of which is the unreliability of notifications of a new registration pending with G3 Gateway Software. I was gifted a ID-4100A for Fathers Day; I honestly have never pursued digital modes but this looks interesting. My mother is in S California in the middle of earthquake country and I would like an alternate way to communicate with her on her Icom D-Star HT. It appears I have completed the registration for myself but still need to tie myself to a home repeater. All the web sites I go to to complete that part come us as "down" with a message stating a secure connection cannot be made. I live in Gilbert AZ and was looking at the Mesa (Usrey) site.
