Icom ID-1 Software?

Hello, I just bought a used Icom ID-1 1200 mhz radio. It works great, but I would love the software to program it. Icom no longer has the software on their site. Can someone please share the software and drivers with me? If needed I have an older computer. I think it runs windows 98. Limited seats are still available for D-STAR InfoCon at Dayton Hamvention for 2024 The class provides an introduction to D-STAR for new users and more advanced topics for more experienced D-STAR users. The class will be held at the Drury Inn Ballroom at 6616 Miller Lane in the heart of hotel row in Dayton. The 3-hour class will be held on Friday, May 17th beginning at 8:00am local time. This year’s topics will include getting on-the-air with D-STAR, how to connect around the world, programming for all models of D-STAR radios and hotspots, using DR Mode, easy updating your radio memories and using hotspots and other D-STAR devices. Basics of digital radio and D-STAR Getting started with your D-STAR radio The D-STAR user registration process explained Programming your D-STAR radios and Hotspots Linking to repeaters and reflectors Helpful hints and tips to get the most from D-STAR Sending pictures, D-STAR Data (D-RATS) and DD Mode Registration and $25 payment are required for the class at DSTAR InfoCon 2024. An Icom ID-52A handheld D-STAR radio will be given away to one lucky student during the class. Also plan to attend the D-STAR Friday Night event at the same location on Friday, May 17th beginning at 6:30. Admission is free, enjoy light snacks, speakers, demos and an Icom ID-52A handheld radio to be given away.

RP4010V with ID-RP3 - No ID

Just purchased an ID- RP4010V with the ID-RP3 software. After performing initial setup and just getting it going in analog mode only, the repeater does not send any Morse ID's. All other functions of the repeater seem to work. I had ICOM check the setup and all looks proper. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Need to resolve this to move forward. Ron, N5ECG

hi i just purchased a icom id-1 have software but my issue is the computer does not recognize the the usb cable on the icom radio im using windows 7 on my laptop how cani factory reset radio and my mic i can not progragram repeaters mic is locked out to help any input will help

Does anyone have a 23cm duplexer available? Or maybe instructions for converting a 70cm Sinclair Q3220E to 23cm, I have several to use? I have this ICOM ID-PI1200VD sitting here that I'd like to get on the air for a few of us who have ID-1's. I've seen the info at https://www.bcfmca.bc.ca/dstar/hardware.html, I might be able to work along those lines, only for a duplexer, don't need the additional port for the DD radio. Icom ID-1 Adjustment Software?

Hi, An amateur colleague has an Icom -ID-1 23 cm FM/DSTAR transceiver and has discovered that it is off frequency and needs adjustment. The way to do the adjustment like the frequency is to use the Icom ID-1 Adjustment Software. Now this radio has been out of production for some time, and the software is probably on a CD-ROM somewhere - does anyone have this software? The local Icom agent in New Zealand doesn't have it and I can't seem to find it anywhere on the Internet - including Icom Japan's web site. I am not sure if this was ever paid software but this is the only was to make this adjustment and probably many others with this type of radio, e.g. all the adjustments are done via the software. I realise that this is a long shot, but appreciate anyone who knows or has this software. Thanks Mark ZL2UFI

I noticed a few interesting looking nets listed for the subject reflector so I tried to link my local gateway repeater to it to no avail. The syntax I used was "XRF002AL" Any thoughts on where I went wrong would be appreciated. RPT1 was WS4VA C and RPT2 was WS4VA G. Thanks! Jeff KC8VFN

Hello to the group! I am new here, it is great to meet like-minded amateurs interested in the 23cm band. Just to add my voice of support to the band's activity.. I have a 23cm Dstar repeater on the air just west of the Charlotte, NC metro area. It is located on a TV broadcast tower platform at the 1500 foot level. Call sign is KA4YMZ A, frequency is 1292.00 -20mhz offset. Equipment includes a new generation 3 Icom RP-1210 repeater. I started out using an RP-2V and it was performing well, however it had developed an issue in the transmitter where it was drifting down almost 2khz low after about a minute of transmit time. The new RP-1210 so far is an excellent performer, stable on both transmit and receive. I'm hoping that trend will continue! Other equipment includes a Wacom WP-698 duplexer, a DCI front-end receive filter to keep out digital TV artifacts and an Angle Linear preamp for that little extra 'edge' on receive. Antenna is a Hustler Spirit 12db base/repeater antenna fed with 15 feet of 1/2" heliax. Network of choice is G4KLX/ircDDB using an RP-2C for the controller interface. Internet is fed via Ubiquiti 5ghz wifi, it's around a 7 mile path from the access point dish. Very stable and has been in service for several years with zero issues. If you live in and around the Charlotte area or just passing through, please feel free to use the repeater anytime. It is typically connected to Ref54C (Carolina reflector) however it is available for access to any other reflector or service. The local users are getting at least 60 miles of service from the repeater and that's really good for this part of the country. No major high end amateur stations involved however most are using yagi directional antennas such as the Diamond and M2 types. A couple of vertical base station antenna users around 25 miles out. I'm really bad at these email reflectors, however if I can figure out how to post a couple of pictures, I will include those below. 73- Steve KA4YMY
