Hi All, I have several GLS-ODT-C-CN installed in corridors and wardrobes. They all work good but if nobody uses room for several hours the sensor seems to go into some kind of "standby" as when person enters the room it turns the lights on much later than it used to. And after this it starts working rapid again. Both US and PIR sensors are enabled. Timeout is set to 30 sec. Connected to DIN-CENCN-2 Did anybody see such behavior?

Hi All, Anyone integrated with the AZ1000ES (new Series) AV Receiver via IP (Esp. if using the old ZA module). If so, Have you had any issues with communications failing and needing a program restart?? My setup is a CP3 and (2) of these on a hi-end network. Everything was working good until the client came back to the vacation home after a week, and no audio (I still don't know why this shocks me...) AVRs were pingable from PC and CP3, and their web-GUIs were accessible, but the S# module and my sidebar TCP client (to handle volume FB) were all offline. Rebooting the AVRs didn't fix, nor re-triggering the S# or the TCP clients. Only a hard boot fixed things. I didn't try a Program restart, but I suspect that it would have also worked... I'm only looking to see if anyone has had similar issues or if this is a one-off or site related item... TIA!!

Does anyone know if the new VideoBar 70 is TAA compliant?

We have a NVX system that was set up a few years ago with Araknis switches. Yeah, I know, not ideal. The system works fine on with the NVX equipment on the main switch, the secondary switch works intermittently. Just thought I would throw this out there to see if anyone has any thoughts. I'm gathering ideas for the next visit. Thanks!

I am currently building a unattached garage with a bonus room over, with the works. New building code dictates wired detectors. The building will be pretty much sound proof so if the detectors go off, I need a way to be notified as the main house is about 75 feet away. There will be automation out there but a separate system then the main house. I'm not to concerned if they integrate with crestron but I would like to trigger a red light visible from outside if something is wrong backed up by a notification on my phone. Curious what others have done with a situation like this. This is my retirement man cave. 28 feet deep by 36 feet long, 11 foot ceiling on the garage level with radiant heat. Second floor has full kitchen, bath and laundry. Central A/C with heat pump and a hydro-coil heat backup that is supplied by the combi boiler for the garage level.

Has anyone had any issues lately with connecting to the old 2 series processors with toolbox? I was on site trying to connect to one and also tried a couple other i=ones back at the shop and says connected, but never pulls up system info or loads program. Thanks, Dan

Having an odd issue and both Crestron and QSC haven't been much help. I have 16 AES67 streams coming from a Crestron NAZ-4ZSP that are going into a QSYS Core 110F. All of those are running fine. Clean audio, no packet loss or drop outs. Recently 6 more streams were added from some NVX devices. All working properly just as the above NAX streams. We just installed a NAX-AUD-USB and the stream constantly drops and gives me a "Compromised - Packet Missing" error. I did all the normal troubleshooting and can't find anything wrong. Clocks are right, multicast addresses are right and not overlapping, stream names are right. I removed the NAX device and brought back to my office where it's connected to a totally different Core running a single AES67 receiver connected to the outputs. Same issue. So, by now I am thinking it has to be this Crestron NAX-USB. Well, I can listen to the stream using the AES monitoring tool and it's completely fine. No drop outs, no lost packets. I keep running in circles with no clear explanation. Anyone out there have any suggestions?

Sorry for the vague title, but it's a problem I haven't encountered before and I need a logic/sanity check. My client does demonstrations of the equipment they sell for remote customers over Zoom, so we have them set up with a goPro and a PTZ camera feeding into an Inogeni switcher connected to their conferencing PC via USB, as well as wireless mics. They have the Crestron app on an iPad and RMC4 for switching between the two cameras and controlling the PTZ camera. What they're asking for is a way to present PDFs and images to their customer while in the Zoom call, and they want to control this from the Crestron app on the iPad. They also want to be able to update that content themselves. I started down the road of adding a Brightsign player as a third source on the Inogeni switcher, loading their content onto the Brightsign and triggering the specific pieces of content to be displayed using a bunch of buttons on the iPad UI sending custom control strings for triggering each piece of content. This works, but it has some drawbacks. First, I don't think it's possible to get the filenames from the Brightsign player so I made it so they/I have to manually edit the button names to match the content each button triggers. Second, because of the way Brightsign requires you to program using custom command strings, there's no way I can trust the client to update their own content since every new piece of content needs to be connected into the web of custom commands that trigger every other piece of content. I've considered using a PC instead of the Brightsign and having the client put all their content into a Powerpoint deck that I could control by advancing slides using Crestron keyboard emulation, but then they lose having individual buttons for triggering each piece of content and would just have to scroll through until they found the right one. In an ideal world, I could give them a network directory or shared Dropbox folder to drop their content into, and the PC or signage player or whatever would send those file names to Crestron to populate the button names on the UI, and commands from Crestron button presses would trigger the signage player or software on the PC to display that specific piece of content full screen. Any suggestions on how to achieve everything the client wants or will they have to compromise on functionality? I've done stuff close to this with a full custom digital signage CMS but that's not on the table for budgetary reasons.

Hi, I need a new discplayer for a customer and because the SONY UHD Player, the Oppo are not available anymore I found the Panasonic UB824 in EU/Germany and I am wondering if somebody was able to control these players by IP with Crestron? In the divers portal there is only an IR file for older bluray players, but nothing about IP control.

I've been seeing a strange issue with the SmartGraphics Media Player Object on a couple different projects, and am wondering if anyone else has seen it. The "Browse List" (on the right) randomly stops working. Items are still displayed in the list, but can't be selected. The buttons change state to show their being pressed, but nothing else happens. The transport buttons to the left of the object still work, and it still displays cover art if something's already playing. It was first reported on a system using Sonos players, so I simply thought it was another in a long list of "Sonos issues". It occurred on both TSW-1060s and 1070s. Then I saw it happen with an NAX streaming player, and another system with an Autonomic. These are systems that had been otherwise working fine for months or years. I noticed there's a new Media Server Object Router v4.1 module in the recent database, but couldn't find (or remember) what the differences are between that and v4.0. I'm planning to swap those out at one of the sites tomorrow, but again am wondering if anyone else has seen this?
