I have a little smart graphics fun project that I'm trying to load onto a Pro2. Getting a insufficient memory message when I try to load. According to what I read, the memory slot on the back can handle up to a 4GB compact flash card. Perhaps 15 years ago, 4GB might have been readily available but these days not so. Locally, the smallest available is 64GB. What would happen if I install a larger one? Only recognize it as 4GB or puke on it?

Back story. I have an existing D3 system with Horizon 1 keypads. Everything would build and compile fine until I updated to the latest DB release. I can't confirm, but I think that the latest DBs fundamentally make changes to the HZ keypads in the program. I can no longer Build the system to compile. It will build and then error out just before compile. Rolling back software and DBs doesn't fix it. But if I build a new project from scratch there is no issues. Which of course I had to do to meet a time line. The main issue I have is once its broke, I think it stays broke. Luckily, I only have this project with the HZ1 keypads to worry about.

I've got a problem that I am experiencing on multiple separate but identical systems, where the processor (and eventually everything else on the CS) is losing its proper IP address on the control subnet after some time - it seems to happen most often anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour of running. When it happens, the processor reverts to a 169.254.X.X address, and I can still connect to it at this 169 address via web browser or system info, but I have to reboot it to get it to grab the right IP from the internal router, which is 172.22.0.1. The LAN side gets a static 10.X.X.X /24 address. This problem has been happening since day 1. FW on both processors is 2nd latest version. I tried unplugging the LAN side of the processor completely and directly connected the control subnet to the LAN port of the DM-MD-16x16-CPU3 in the rack. I connected my laptop to a LAN port on a DM receiver in the field to get access to the processor. Even with the proc LAN not hooked up, the problem still persisted. My laptop was the only thing plugged into any LAN port on any of the endpoints, and the DM matrix was the only thing connected to the processor. The error logs are filled with hundreds of errors (1 gets generated every second), mostly "GetEthernetParemeter: Unable to get GET_CURRENT_IP_ADDRESS for specific Id 0", and a lot of "RQIF_IssueGetCommand - ROUTER NOT CONNECTED" I have been running this program on another CP4N on my desk for a month without issue, but both rooms with CP4Ns in the field which run the same code have the problem. Only difference is they actually have devices on their LAN/CS. Oddly enough, if I swap a CP3N into the room, it runs just fine. Has anyone seen this problem?

I know, I know...:( Anyone who might have used this module and used the AWAY mode, have you experienced certain stats randomly coming out of Away mode into a normal running setpoint?? Our first system with the HZ units is with a client who travels a fair bit and really like the ability to set all his stats to AWAY and then back to RUN when coming home. But we have regularly seen *some* of the stats come out of AWAY mode after 1-3 days...I haven't noticed any regularity and although it does seem to be the same 3-4 stats, its never consistent as to which and when this will happen... Anyone else seen this behavior?? Running on a CP4 with PUF: 2.8003.00049.01

Replacing an older BenQ Laser Boat Anchor that failed with a new JVC DLA-RS2100. I can't seem to get any of the older modules to communicate with these laser projectors (albeit I don't do many of them). I see that the Comm Speed is 19200bps as opposed to many of the older ones using 9600 8N1. I can NOT get this projector to communicate in any way. I would just putty to the back of it and test commands but I loaned out my Serial adapter a week or two ago (great timing!).I was hoping someone knew of a module that indeed works with this projector to save the time of hunting down my "borrower" to get this thing to respond and get it working. i of course need just power on/off/HDMI 1select.

I'm new to DMX, and have a project upcoming that will incorporate some DMX LED tape, etc. The project is a barn, and client wishes to have options for colored lighting for parties, hanging out, game night, etc. My objectives: Use a dedicated DMX controller where I can create scenes/chases, etc (on its dedicated PC software, and/or iPad app)., and have those presets be recallable from a Crestron touchscreen/CP4. Nothing fancy, just some presets like "Christmas" (flashes Red and Green), "Blue" (turns all lights Blue), "Rainbow" (chases through all colors), etc. It seems like the Pharaos LPC and Enttec S-Play are way overkill for what I need, and wondering if there is anything cheaper that will allow preset recall via Crestron commands over ethernet. I also see CueServer, and did some basic work with Colorbeam. Frankly, I'm not sure exactly what I would need (besides the LED tape, other DMX lights) to make this happen. I do know that I would like to have a DMX controller for all control, and not use the CP4 to natively create scenes/presets, etc. via SIMPL. Any help/input would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have very little smart graphics experience. I'm trying to recreate the control panel of a older Generac generator that I can use with my iphone. It has a 3 way rocker switch for "Off, Automatic and manual". It also has a simple "set exercise" switch that is normally closed and opens when Pressed. I've got all that no problem. On the face of the control is 7 LED's that indicate the "state" of the generator. I can fairly easily tap the power going to the LED's and run them through a versiport. I'm only dealing with 12 vdc to the LED's. The LED's illuminate when there's a problem so except for power, they are normally off. Unless I'm missing something and most likely am, I don't see how to create buttons in smart graphics that show active and in active state using different colors. In the inactive state all buttons will be black. In the active state the power LED is green, the low fuel is yellow and the rest will be red. This is easy in good old VT ProE. Done it many times. Just not seeing what I want in SG.

I have tried both PJ Talk and Crestron Connected and can not get control of this PJ. Logged into the web interface and made sure the settings were correct. Am I missing something?

I hate the new interface on TB site. I used to be able go back and review an online case. Unless I am missing the option, all you get now is the last entry. Which of course is the automated notice for the case generation.

Hi All, I am struggling with creating an xpanel and simpl programming. I am trying to create an xpanel which allow to select a date and start and finish time of an event i.e. sensory event in this case, and if the button is toggled to active, it activates that particular event and send commands based on start time and end time and then the button is toggled off, it should not send any commands. I know there is event scheduler module but its not working for me. anyone can help me out here please? Thanks

Hi, I am controlling as Samsung display whose model number is QN43QN90CAF. I am not getting setting option for RS 232 in the display because of which I am not able of control this display. Does anyone know the command to set an input card to HDCP 1.x from the command line? I have a 32x32 and the PC onsite will not load the DM tool. Or... can I use the DM tool to connect to the input card directly? (assuming the pc will connect to it)

using a Crestron CP4R to IP control the Sony XR85X95L everything works fine. Replaced the XR85X95L with the newer Sony Bravia 9 model K85XR90 and the power on/off, input flip, and direct access to smart apps work fine, but cursor up, down, left, right, select/enter, home and other functions do nothing. Crestron has started a ticket to investigate. This is true no matter which Sony TV IP driver I choose. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Ok I have not dug into what file defines the Font, Font Size and colors; the Preferences have next to nothing. Is my Option to use NotePad++ then reopen and compile in Simpl+ or is there a bat or config file I can tweak so its just what I like?

What is the best way (if any) to control a Mitsubishi Mini Split HVAC system using Crestron Home OS4? The house is being renovated and there are no tstats in place yet. Can we use any of the Crestron Tstats? Thanks in advance.
