I'm looking to purchase the latest ,software version, SAA-2N analyzer. Is there a preferred "brand" and a dealer for this instrument? I have a very early Nanovna that works well but the screen and print are just too small for me. Hope this newer model is as good in person as it appears to be in all the videos. Thanks in advance. maybe the case is touching the touch of the screen and firmware things you press finger on screen... try with open case .... another option is a loose screen connector try resetting it ..... what LEDs are on when you switch it on? Hi all. Just purchased a new NanoVNA H4 from the Europe vendor as indicated on https://nanovna.com. I never used such an instrument before, so I am experimenting. At the same time I subscribed to this group. This is my first post. Twelve days have elapsed since I received the parcel from The Netherlands. Two days after receipt, I took a picture of the back side label, because the markings include a serial number, while the electronic invoice I received does not show any. I am visually impaired, so anything I do is with the help a a magnifying glass, or a big loupe, or both. Yesterday I pull my NanoVNA H4 out of its box again, and I noticed many "scratches" on the back side black label. Quite many, that have taken off the white paint or ink ! To the extent that if it continues at that pace, no serial number will be visible anymore ... My desk is a bit cluttered, but no bag of sand, no metal dust, no roll of barbed wire, not even sharp tools. The vendor to whom I sent the two pictures of before and after the scratches replied he has never seen anything like that before. Which is not reassuring, considering I might be the only one with a "different" NanoVNA H4 ! Have anybody seen or heard of such a backside black (and some white) label deterioration before ? Knowing there are clones, imposters, etc. out in the market. How do I know I’m getting a real nanovna?

I see a lot of NANOVNA H4 devices on Amazon that are at 3.6. Can those be updated to the latest firmware revision?

I can find a lot of Youtube videos on how to upgrade firmware on the Nanovna H4. But mine is the Nanovna H. Finding help for this on (the H) has eluded me up until now. I hope there are some of you that can assist me in the effort. Thanks so much! Dave Poulson kb7byi

Hello all I know this was on an earlier thread, but I was wondering what the purpose of the correct button. When toggled, it shows two different results of an SWR reading for same band. I was just wondering which I should normally read, the results with correct turned on or off. On I guess would show the button to be darkened. I understand that the button may be a toggle for on off of calibration? I have a H-4 model for reference. Thank you Willie KC3QOR

Hi guys My swr on my yagi went from less than 1.1:1 to over 12:1 overnight. Can I use my Nano VNA H4 to troubleshoot whether I might have a coax / balun open or short from the ground? Thanks! Pete WA1HXH

My Nano VNA H4 does not have a SD card slot. Question is, the new upgrade FW has menu items for saving to the SD card. Question is? Does the circuit board have solder pads for an SD card slot, and if it does, would adding the reader/SD card holder work? Obviously a hole would also have to be added to the case. Does anyone know if this is possible and if it has been done? I see where a guy hacked one onto a older VNA with wire's etc. not interested in a hack but soldering a cartridge holder onto the board shouldn't be to hard. Getting a hole in the case will be hard not to have it look ugly, but doable.

I bought a Nano H to help with antenna and feedline comparisons. With my nano connected to different antennae -- or checking different freq ranges of the same antenna -- the plot on the smith chart is sometimes very short and sometimes it's a squiggly line that goes all over the place. What's the reason(s)? [plain language please.....I'm just a software guy, not a super-genius EE]
